The PEI Office of Immigration has conducted a new draw for candidates waiting for an invitation in the pool. This was the second Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draw of April.
In the latest PEI PNP draw held on April 18, 2024, 82 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates under the Labour & Express Entry stream. These ITAs were issued to individuals working in the Healthcare, Manufacturing, Construction, and Traditional sectors.
Candidates were also ranked and selected based on the following selection attributes:
- Language: English or French;
- Education: level and field of education and where completed;
- Skill and work experience level;
- Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI;
- Other factors relevant to employment prospects: including but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.
Only Labour & Express Entry stream candidates were invited in the latest PEI PNP draw. No Business Work Permit Entrepreneur stream candidates were issued ITAs.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) conducts invitation rounds based on the yearly-announced draw schedule. According to the PEI PNP draw schedule for 2024, the Office of Immigration will conduct 23 invitation rounds.
You can immigrate to Prince Edward Island in 2024 under the following pathways:

In 2023, PEI issued 2,422 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across 22 draws. The back-to-back draws serve as a testament to the province’s commitment to inviting skilled workers and businessmen outside Canada – with the skills, qualifications, and potential needed to succeed in the PEI’s dynamic economy.
The same trend is expected to be carried out in 2024 as well.
