Quebec's Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP)

Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) is designed to attract individuals who have the skills, education, and work experience needed in Quebec’s labor market.

To apply for the RSWP, candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Arrima portal, where they provide information about their education, work experience, language proficiency, and other factors. Based on the information provided, candidates are ranked using a points-based system, also known as the Quebec Points Calculator. Those with the highest scores are invited to apply for permanent residency in the subsequent draw.

Quebec usually conducts a new Arrima draw on a bi-weekly basis, at minimum. The frequency, size, and date of the Quebec Immigration next draw prediction are determined by the needs of Quebec’s application inventory. In 2023, Quebec conducted 16 RSWP draws that invited a total of 17,408 candidates. The trend of issuing higher ITAs is expected to be carried out in 2024 as well.
