Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its third Express Entry draw of the week.
This draw follows a category-based Express Entry draw for Healthcare occupations that occurred on February 14, and a General Express Entry draw the day before, on February 13.
Latest Express Entry Draw
In the latest Express Entry draw conducted on February 16, 2024, invitations were issued to 150 candidates under the Agriculture and Agri-food occupations category. Candidates were required to have a minimum CRS score of 437 to be eligible for an invitation.

If you’ve been invited
If you’ve been invited to this Express Entry draw, you’ll receive a message in your account informing you of the program you’ve been invited to apply for and what to do next. You will also need to provide proof of the information you provided when creating your Express Entry profile. IRCC will assess whether the information you submit in your Canada PR application differs from what was in your Express Entry profile.
You will have 60 days to submit a complete application.
If there are any changes in your circumstances or those of your spouse or common-law partner, it’s important to reassess your score before submitting your online application for permanent residence.
The Agriculture and Agri-food occupations category is one of the six selection categories for Express Entry draws finalized by IRCC. In 2023, the job vacancy rate within the Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, and Hunting sectors was 3.9%, accounting for 10,535 vacant positions.
This draw marked only the third Express Entry draw targeted for Agriculture and Agri-food occupations since new selection categories for Express Entry were introduced by IRCC in May 2023.
